Josef Paul Kleihues

Kleihues' buildings and projects of the last three decades are presented here as the practical applications of his theoretical positions. In particular, his theories on Poetic Rationalism," the Critical Reconstruction of the City" and the Antithetical and Contradictory as Ends and Means" have greatly influenced contemporary architectural debate. This volume has been structured so as to allow a study of his works according to building type.
