Jack's Big Race

First published in 1998, this book is based on a true family story. Jack's favorite place is his grandfather's shed, an upside-down boat on the beach. There he learns about boats and sailing. Grandfather helps him build a raft to sail in the big race. It might be the smallest vessel, but with helping hands Jack is the winner.
