Heritage Britain

Each century from Britain's eventful past has left a trace on the landscape: from prehistoric standing stones at Stonehenge and Callanish, to magnificent cathedrals and medieval castles, to elegant stately houses and dreaming spires. Heritage Britain celebrates this rich past in a series of stunning photographs; from double page panoramas to close-cropped details, each image captures something of these ‘footprints’ from history. All photographs have been chosen exclusively from VisitBritain’s own specialist image library and include work by a number of prize-winning photographers, many of who specialize in photographing all aspects of Britain.
