津波被災した陸前高田で復活営業中の種屋店主が、英 語で綴る震災手記。 Teiichi Sato lives and runs a small seed shop in Rikuzentakata, Iwate, Japan. The book consists of two parts; first part is a real story of escape and second part is a recovery journey after the tsunami. He and his wife escaped from the tsunami in 2011 by coincidence but lost all their properties. He strived to restart his business - first, in the mountain area, tailgate selling, after much trial and error, he returned to his original shop area. As the area was once swiped away by the tsunami, he himself built a temporary shop dug a water well by using hand-made tools and rubble. Teiichi Sato is an ordinary Japanese person and has a passion to pass on the learnings from the tsunami in 2011 and from the past. He also would like to express his gratitude to many people around the globe who offered a helping hand to them. This is a real story telling entrepreneurship. His story was broadcasted by various media from the world, including the Wall Street Journal and Nikkei Shimbun. This is the 4th edition as the previous editions published in paper were all sold out.
